I want to add 2 feet of tongue to my boat trailer. Would that kit work for that also. As you can see in the photo the tongue is not very long

Yes, you will be able to add the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit to your boat trailer to gain some additional length out of the trailer. We have the hinge kit in different sizes to match your trailer tongue. It appears you will need the 3"X5" # FHDPB350101. We also have a 3"X4" # FHDPB340301 and 3"X3" # FHDPB330301.

You will need to source the additional trailer tongue material from a local supplier in the length you are needing.
