Question:
Hello, I have small utility trailer that I’m building into a camper. It currently has an 1800 lb axle with 4x4 lug pattern 48in spring seats, 60in hub face. I ultimately want the trailer to have the same lug pattern as my truck 6x5.5. What is my best route to take as I don’t need a huge weight axle or brakes. Do you have a 60” axle that I can fit 6x5.5 hubs onto? Thanks for your help

In order to add hubs with a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern the lowest capacity hub or hub/drum assembly is going to be 3,500 lbs. Since we do not have a 3,500 lb axle that matches your measurements you could use the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # ASR3500S05. This system fits any frame width and will also replace/upgrade your suspension.
The Timbren system has a weight capacity of 3,500 lbs and uses # L68149 inner and # L44649 outer bearings. This would allow you to use the # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K or # AKIHUB-655-35-EZ-K. Both of these have the same bolt pattern as your truck. If you need brakes you could use the # AKEBRK-35-SA along with the # BRKH10B for mounting hardware.
