Question:
Hi, I have a 2018 CRV which already has a hitch with 4pole power plug near the hitch receiver. I want to install these lights under the last bike 4th bike on a Thule T2 Classic rack. Will I need an extension wire for this install? thank you

Expert Reply:
The wire lead for the LED Light Kit # 98174LED you're looking at is 46" long from the driver's side. Your Thule T2 Classic Bike Rack for 4 Bikes TH9044-TH9046 measures 55" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the farthest edge of the rack so you should be able to add the 12" Extension # 9653P and be good but this all depends on where you place the lights and where exactly your 4-Way connector is on your 2018 Honda CR-V.
If you want some extra wire so you can route it a little easier I recommend picking up the Hopkins Endurance Easy-Pull 4-Flat Extension # HM47004 instead which comes with a 24" lead as opposed to the 12" lead mentioned above.
