What Pump Can Be Used to Fill an RV Fresh Water Tank

Question:
Recommended rv water pump to fill fresh water tank
asked by: Paul J
Expert Reply:
Most RV fresh water tanks have to be gravity or hand pump fed and cannot be filled using an electric pump. That is because they are designed as a low pressure application.
You can either take the hose straight to the water inlet or you can use a hand pump like the Valterra Antifreeze Hand Pump with City Water Connection Hose for RV Winterizing # P23507VP. While this pump is meant for winterizing your RV, it could be used for water to transfer water from a container to your fresh water tank.
