Can The Replacement Lithium Converter # PD4560LICSV Be Deck Mounted?
Question:
I recently bought a new trailer and kept my PD4560LICSV from the old trailer as the new owner did not want to consider lithium batteries. My new trailer has a non-lithium capable power converter. Can I deck mount the PD4560LICSV in the new trailer or is it designed to only function in the Progressive dynamics power center? The new trailer has a WFCO power center so installing in power center isnt an option.

Expert Reply:
I recommend using a Progressive Dynamics RV Converter and Battery Charger # PD79RR on your trailer with the WFCO power center. The Replacement Lithium Converter # PD4560LICSV should only be used inside the Progressive Dynamics 4500 Series RV Power Control Center # PD4560K18LS8 and cannot be deck mounted.
