Will my trailer battery continue to be charged by my tow vehicle when using this controller?

Yes, the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller part # C51180 will still allow the trailer battery to receive a charge from the vehicle although it may be a bit less than before since it does use some of this power for the controller. That said, it's very small and likely unnoticeable.
