Will the Swagman XTC-2 Platform Bike Rack Accomodate a Womens Step-Through Frame Bike

Question:

Looking through the pictures I never found the rack holding a womans step-through framed bike. Does the hold down hook travel far enough down the shaft to accommodate this type of bike frame? Thanks.

I was able to measure a Swagman XTC-2 and with the bike hook that secures over the top of the bike frame in the lowest position is 13 inches above the wheel mount brackets, and 15 inches from the hitch mounting shank.
I have included a diagram showing these dimensions for you.

If you could please measure your womens step through bike frame and the top of the frame is no less than 13 inches off the ground then the Sagman XTC-2 bike rack would work for you.

I have included another one of our customers submitted photo, showing an adapter bar being used to mount their step through style of bike on this exact bike rack. In this case they used the adapter bar between the seat upright and handle bar upright and secured the bike hook to the adapter bar. This is an excellent use of an adapter bar, and is a great option for you as well. You might need the Swagman adapter bar # 64005 for this method of securing the bike to Swagman XTC-2 bike rack.

Unfortunately we do not have a womens step through style of bike available to use for demonstrating any of our bike racks.
