Question:

i have elecstep on mh that quit working and I want to find different steps not use the electric do ,this fold up for travel? and can they be used in place of the steps on the camper

The Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS03 do retract to make them easier to haul around but these steps do have to be removed from the mounting bracket for travel. These steps are designed for use on truck bed campers and wouldn't really be the best option for a motorhome.

Instead I recommend going with some fold down steps like the MORryde Quick Connect RV Steps # MR32JR. To determine which exact model will fit your motorhome you'll need to measure your entry height (from the ground to the mounting point for the steps) and the doorway width.
