Recommended Hitch that is Confirmed to Fit a 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid

Question:

I want to install the hitch you suggested but the underneath of my vehicle doesn’t look like the one you show in the video. If if doesn’t fit , can I return it? I’m going to take my vehicle to a body shop to have it installed because I know that there will be some cutting involved. The underneath on the drivers side rear is totally covered , the passenger side and hook are exposed. I’ve had trailer hitches on my other CRV’s but they weren’t Hybrids.

Thanks for the pictures! I took a look at them and our customer reviews and decided to check with our vendors to see if they had any discrepancies. It turns out there is only one hitch for a 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid that has been confirmed to fit by the manufacturer. It is the Ecohitch item # 306-X7345. Our installers have had success installing and multiple reviews from customers stating that the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e98848 does fit the Hybrid model. If this uncertainty is not something you are comfortable with then I recommend the Ecohitch. Either way you should consult with your installer and get their opinion before making a decision. The fact the underneath of your car is completely covered isn't relevant because you're mounting this hitch to the frame. The shields will all have to be removed to access the frame.

I also recommend getting a locking hitch pin to keep your accessories safe from theft. The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock For 2" Hitch # e98882 is a great option.
