B and W Tow N Stow Ball Mount for 2022 GMC Sierra AT4 with Enough Ground Clearance

Question:

I have a 2022 at4 1500 bought the hitch with a 4 1/2 and now the distance between that and th3 ground is only 10 inches unloaded. They recommend 11 inches min loaded. What are your thoughts should I get 2.5 ?

10 inches of ground clearance from the bottom of your B and W Tow n Stow to the ground is pretty low. I would highly recommend going with the version of your ball mount with 2-1/2 inches of drop instead with the part # BW44FR which would give you 12 inches of clearance instead. This is one inch over the minimum you mentioned so you wouldn't have to worry about dragging.
