MaxxAir II w/ EZClip and Dexter Vent?

Question:
The vents on my 2017 Heartland Elkridge have 2 tabs of either side of the vent placed at the corner with a predrilled hole in the tab. I believe the vent is made by Dexter. The regular Maxxair vent cover will not fit without removing the tabs on the Dexter? vent to align the mounting bracket with the slots on the Maxxari vent. In looking at the MaxAir II with the EZclip, does the EZclip mounting bracket installed in the predrilled hole in the vent side tabs align to the vent cover clip location? I’d rather not order another set of vent covers just to see if they fit. Thank you

Dexter makes Ventline so that's why you're having some trouble installing the MaxxAir vent cover on the clips of your vent. Since you have a different brand you will have to screw in the included mounting brackets for the MaxxAir II RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover # MA26JR to mount.
If your vent has a fan in it just use the self-tapping screws that come with the cover to mount the brackets to the side of the vent. Once they're mounted you'll be able to to use the EZClips to attach the cover.
