Troubleshooting Thule Key that Doesn't Work in All Lock Cores of Bike Rack

Question:
my factory key n166 only works in the reciever knob to lock and unlock. It fits into the other 2 knobs but will not turn. Now what? New rack

Sometimes with Thule lock cores you have to lightly tap the key all the way in the first time you use it. I would recommend checking to see if the lock core that works allows the key to slide further into the lock core and if so then try tapping the key further in to the other cores to see if that helps.
