Question:
We are installing the furion chill in a cargo trailer that didn’t have an a/c. I read something about the 12v dc being connected to a battery? We can get our thermostat to power up. We have a new furion thermostat and controller, just can’t get juice to the thermostat. Do I need to run wires to a battery? I currently don’t have one, just want to make sure this is the case? Thanks

Yes, you will need to run a wire to your battery in order to get the 12V power you need on your thermostat like the # FR33PR. You should have a cable tag label that shows each cable definition. This will allow you to determine which cable should be connected to the 12V power source. For wire, you can use the 14 Gauge Primary Wire # DW02422-1. I would also recommend adding an in-line fuse holder # C58470-1 with a 10 amp fuse.
