Firestone Ride-Rite Air Springs For a 2004 Ford F-250 4WD 4" Lift and Compressor Comparison

Published 07/02/2022

Question:

I’m asking to make sure that this kit will fit a 2004 F250 4WD that has a 4” lift kit on it. I also want to clarify what the difference is between the single outlet compressor and the double outlet compressor would be. Just want to make sure I’m ordering the right parts.

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 are confirmed to fit your 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty at stock ride height. For your 4" lift you will also need the 4" Lift Spacers # F2370. Be sure to verify that your rear suspension has a 4" lift as several 4" lift kits have a 4" front and 2" rear to level the truck. If that is what you have the 2" Lift Spacers # F2366 are what you need.

A single outlet compressor like the Air Command Compressor System # F2610 will only have one output that ties into both air bags. This ensures both air bags have the same air pressure.

A dual outlet compressor like the Firestone Air Command II # F2178 allows you to run separate air lines to each rear bag for uneven loads. Or you can also run separate line for Front Air Springs # F2223 if you require air bags for both axles.
