It says overall height is 15-1/2. What is the height of the section with the vertical cut sides, and the remaining height where the sides taper? I have the same question about the 22inch tall buyers hitch plate.

Expert Reply:
The Buyers Products # 3371809042 measures 9-1/2" on the vertical side with the remaining height being 6" down to the bottom. The # 3371809043 measures 14-1/2" on the vertical side with 8" of remaining height down to the bottom of the hitch plate. See the dimensional diagrams below.
