Troubleshooting A Furrion Vision S System That Isnt Staying Powered On A Leisure Travel Motorhome
Published 06/26/2022 >
Question:
I have the camera mounted on the back, upper center marker light position and the 5inch monitor in the cab Ford Transit Chassis. When ignition is in accessoryinch position, camera works fine, shows as Rear camera, great picture, great signal. When engine starts, monitor goes no signal.inch Camera still shows blue lightinch at back of van. Whats happening? Is the camera somehow configured as a security monitor rather than a backup monitor? Is there some master reset on the unit? Thoughts?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Your Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System # FOS05TASF is most likely wired to the running light circuit of your 2021 Leisure Travel Wonder Motorhome. If you turn on your headlights the camera should have power running to again and will connect with the monitor.
This is the most popular installation method as it allows you to use your camera system anytime versus only being able to use it when your vehicle is in reverse.
