Question:

How do I know if my 2018 Coachman Leprechaun 319mb can use these after market awnings? How do I determine of there is wood to hold the mounting screws?

If you're wanting to install a slide out awning on your 2018 Coachmen Leprechaun 319MB Class C Motorhome then you'll just need to measure the slide out from the outer edge of the flange to the outer edge of the other flange. You'll also need to have 5"- 7" of clearance on both sides of the slide out to allow for enough room for the arms to retract without coming into contact with anything else.

For example, the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000182037 would fit a slide out measuring 116" - 121" wide.

An extrusion rail will be mounted to the side wall of the motorhome with some self tapping screws and butyl tape # AL28FJ. The fabric bead will slide into this rail and run out to the roller which will be connected the the slide out using self tapping screws and butyl tape as well.

The extrusion rail will hit multiple studs and the placement of the roller arm brackets on the slide out will have it screwed into the frame of the slide out as well.

I've attached a video where I install a slide out awning to help give you a better idea of the process. If you can get me your flange to flange measurements I can find the correct size awnings to fit your motorhome.
