Recommended Replacement Slide Out Controller For A 2022 Grand Design Reflection 303RLS 5th Wheel

Question:

So I have a 2022 GD 303RLS 5th wheel. Had some trouble with our bedroom slide either going out or retracting. My RV manual has a picture of 13398-C2, Not sure if I have the 13398-DO installed. Had to push the manual override button. After the third time attempting to retract the slide, the button popped off. Is this a common issue? Now I have to drive 60 miles to get the 5th looked at at the dealership. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

I spoke with Lippert and was able to determine based on the parts listed from Grand Design for your 2022 Grand Design Reflection 303RLS 5th Wheel Trailer that the Lippert Replacement Controller for In-Wall Slide-Out - V-Sync II - Version C2 # LC211852 would be the correct replacement for your current controller.

The button popping off is not a common issue as far as I know.

Now would be a good time to also check the other components of your slide out system for any damage or wear. Check the gear pack to see if the teeth are chewed up and check the voltage running to the motor. If you're not receiving 12v at the motor it will not operate properly.

You can also pull the switch for your slide out off of the wall and check to make sure the spade terminals are properly attached to the prongs on the back of the switch.
