Best Bike Rack for 2 e-bikes on a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with Swinging Door

Question:

I have 2 electric bikes one is a 4 inch tire the other 2 1/4 inch tire total weight 140 lb. I have Jeep Wrangler Sahara 2019 with a 2 inch hitch. What hitch models HLY84FR or HLY66ZR is the best for my situation. Would the hitch extender help in opening the rear swing door?

Both the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR and the Hollywood Racks Destination E Bike Rack # HLY66ZR are excellent choices for your application as they have a higher weight capacity for your e-bikes and they secure bikes by the frame instead of the wheels since most e-bikes have front fenders. I like the Destination E Bike Rack a little better because you can rotate the clamps around to accommodate different bike frame style and it comes with a ramp so it's easier to load your heavy bikes.

When it comes to clearing the spare tire and swing door on your 2019 Jeep Wrangler I recommend picking up the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender # PVP20B. Not only does this give you an additional 12-3/16" of clearance plus it will swing away so you can open up that door.
