I always recommend Roadmaster as being the best in quality and fitment for flat towing. If you go with the 2021 or 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK you will need their Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521440-5. The 2022 WL will require a Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM76RR but this will not fit on the Trailhawk, Overland or 4xe trims.

The Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676 are their most popular tow bars. These are rated up to 8,000lbs which will allow for additional cargo in your Jeep. The RoadMaster Nighthawk All Terrain Towing Combo Kit # RM-9284-2 will provide you with the safety cables, storage bag, cover, locks and wiring needed to control the tail lights on your Jeep. I do recommended adding a Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 as this will ensure your battery stays charged while it is being towed.

The Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink # DM26VR will tie into the air brakes on your 2017 Thor Tuscany. This will operate the brakes on your Jeep when the coach brakes are used. As it is controlled by the air pressure in the coach brake lines there is no false braking. The Coachlink system will tell you when the brakes are being applied to your Jeep ensuring you know they only come on when you brake or in the event of a breakaway.

Finally you may or may not need a High-Low Adater like # RM-048-4. You will need to measure the height of your receiver on your Thor Tuscany to ensure the tow bars do not have more than a 3" height difference to your Jeep. The mounts will replace the tow hooks on the older Jeep, or they will sit around 19-1/4" on the new Jeep. If you are unsure if it is needed please let me know the measurements you have.
