Question:

The red power button is lit but when you manually press it to run on or off it does nothing can’t change the clock listen to radio nothing happens

The first thing step to troubleshoot your Furrion RV Stereo # DV3100 is to remove it from the wall and pull the fuse located on the back of the unit. Check the fuse for any damage and if there isn't any you can place it back into unit. Next you'll want to check for any loose connections with your wiring.

If no loose connections are found then you can test the power wire at the unit with a digital multimeter # PT89ZR to ensure that your unit is receiving 12v power. If it's not receiving a full 12v it could power on the red light but not actually function.

The next step is to check your ground as it could be corroded or loose, which is a fairly common issue when it comes to wiring.

If these steps do not solve your issue the unit itself may need to be replaced.

Checked and confirmed voltage at wiring harness. Won’t turn on. Any way to fix it?

@PatrickC Did you check just the wire harness or did you also check the fuse plugged into the back of the stereo?

@KevinC Checked and replaced the fuse in the stereo and in the fuse panel.

@PatrickC And it still isn't working? If you've confirmed that the stereo has power running to it and that the fuse is good and it still won't turn on then the circuit board inside of it likely shorted and the stereo will need to be replaced. The closest option we currently offer in comparison to the DV3100 would be the Jensen RV Stereo w/ DVD Player # JWM70A. The sizing is a bit larger so you would need to trim out the cutout hole a bit larger to mount it.
