Troubleshooting An RVS Camera System With Mixed Up Camera Views
Updated 06/20/2022 | Published 06/16/2022 >
Question:
Signal wires are correct. The camera screw on connectors are correct. But on monitor drivers shows up under right side and says passenger on screen, and vise versa with passengers. Wiring is correct. So when drivers signal on, driver side shows. Vice versa with passenger. But on monitor..drivers shows up on right side with text at top saying passenger. Vice versa with passengers. Is it a setting in the monitor? They are not very clear on their install/troubleshooting. Im also an advanced MECP installer. Thanks

I spoke with the manufacturer and they stated they have experienced this is the past with another Rear View Safety Backup Camera System # RVS-062710 and that it's a signal issue.
To resolve the issue they recommend disconnecting power to all cameras and then to connect and trigger them one at a time to see if they correctly trigger and go back to their correct side.
