The main factor in choosing the correct replacement piano hinge is pin diameter which then in turn, denotes capacity. The hinge width and material are also all worthwhile contributing factors. The Continuous Piano Hinge part # MA85VR for example uses a 3/8" pin, measures 4" wide, and is made of steel. The length is 72" but this can be cut to fit your exact specification, just make sure to do so at an intersection.
