When it comes to installing a side load assist bar to work with your Yakima Jaylow J Rack Bars The Rhino-Rack Universal Load Assist - Crossbar Mount - Side Loading - 132 pounds # RR-RUSL will only work with Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero, Euro, and Heavy-Duty crossbars; Whispbar Flush, Through, Rail, and HD crossbars; and Thule AeroBlade and square crossbars. So they will not work with your Yakima bars.
The Inno Kayak Lifter Load Assist - Clamp On - Side Loading - 90 pounds # INA453 has an easy, clamp-on installation to most crossbars. It has a weight capacity up to 90 pounds, and the swing-out arm length is 18 inches.
