How Can I Make A Kuat NV 2.0 Easier To Install

The Kuit NV 2.0 is 50 lbs. I like it has a ramp. I’m a small woman. Although it is helpful it has a ramp, the hitch is awful heavy to get in and out. Any tips for tools to manage this?

One of the more difficult things to do when installing a hitch bike rack like the Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Matte Black, part # BA22B, is aligning the hitch pin holes. You can add the etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar for Bike Racks, Cargo Carriers, and Tow Bars - 2" Hitches. part # e98942, to this bike rack. Once installed you will not have to worry about the alignment of this hitch bike rack when installing it on your trailer hitch. You will be able to insert the shank of this hitch bike rack to the correct depth every time. Adding the Access Ramp for Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack, part # ANVBRB, will help you when loading and unloading bikes.
Another option is the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount, part # TH903202. It comes with a ramp and wheels to help you move the EasyFold when it is not on your vehicle.
