Is a Humming Sound From Electric Brakes Normal

Question:

The humming sound from MY trailers electric drum brakes is a good sign? I never hear this sound before, 2 years I bot travel trailer and I dont hear the sound , 2 days ago I connect the trailer and I can hear the sound and when I try to drive brake on trailer block the driving so I have to adjust the brake on trailer?

The humming sound coming from electric brakes like the # AKEBRK-35 is perfectly normal. This comes from the magnets grabbing the surface of the brake drum which means your brakes are working. If you're saying your brakes are locking up it is possible they were adjusted too much if you did a manual adjustment. The other possibility is that the brake controller output is too high and needs to be turned down so I would check that as well.
