According to the Stromberg Carlson website, the distance between the mounting brackets is 23.5”. According to your information, it is 19.5”. So which one is it?

The Lend-a-Hand Extra Large Folding Grab Handle # AM-533 has a distance of 19.5" from the bottom of the top mounting bracket to the top of the bottom mounting bracket. It appears that the measurement Stromberg has on their site is in reference to the distance between the handle grab bar itself at 23.5". I have included images below that will show the measured distances for the mounting holes.
