Hello this winch comes with a polyester strap. Can it be swapped out for a stainless cable?

The Dutton-Lainson StrongArm 12-Volt DC Electric Winch with Remote # DL25220 is only compatible with a strap but we do have 12V winches with a remote that are compatible with a cable. For example, we have the Bulldog Winch # BDW15017 which has an exposed spool or the ComeUp DV-4500i # CU644512 which has an enclosed spool. Both of these are around the same price-point, are powered via 12V power, and come with remote controls.
