Question:
I intend to replace my Magnetic 6332a converter on a truck camper with one 12 volt battery to a PD4635v and 2 - 12 volt batteries in parallel. It is advertised as a direct fit. Could I replace it with a PD4645v instead? Ot is that unnecessary, unsafe or not advisable?

Expert Reply:
Since you have a 35 amp setup now you need to stick with the 35 amp Progressive Dynamics converter section replacement # PD4635V.
