Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier Recommendation for Leer Camper Shell with Tracks on a Ford F-150

I have what you need! Even though we have amazing options for installing a complete roof rack system on your Ford F-150 with a Leer camper shell, installing the WingBar Evo Crossbars onto a track system is a complicated process. This is because with the WingBar Evo crossbars, they come with bottom channels that do not extend the entire length of the bottom of the crossbar. With that being the case, there is no way to fully determine what WingBar Evo crossbars you need unless we have the distance from track to track. If you are set on a Thule WinBar Evo system, feel free to respond with the measurement from your left track to the right track.

We do have a similar style of crossbars that are not limited to the bottom channel length. That is the Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00426 (60") or the # Y00427 (70"). The aerodynamic design and high quality of these crossbars are virtually identical to the Thule WingBar Evo crossbars. It is important to note that the crossbars should never be long enough that they extend past the side mirrors of your truck. Doing so can not only be illegal, it is extremely dangerous.

For the rest of the JetStream Setup, you need the following parts:

- Two sets of the Landing Pad 1 # Y00221
- Yakima SkyLine Towers # Y53TR

As for the kayak carrier, I recommend the Yakima JayLow # Y04073. With the JayLow, it includes a simple clamp-on attachment that is perfect for the JetStream crossbars. For theft-deterrence measures, I recommend the Yakima Same-Key Lock Cores # Y07202. In order to add a second boat to the JayLow, you need the additional tie-downs # Y04031.
