You ride often, and your bikes aren't cheap. Hit the road knowing they'll be just as you loaded them when you reach the trail. And with this rack's high-end design, it looks like it was made for your vehicle, not like an afterthought.
Your bike isn't just a ride, it's your trusted companion on every adventure. The last thing it needs is a rack that clamps down on the frame and leaves it covered in scratches. The Verse secures your bikes by the front wheels, keeping carbon, custom, and full-suspension frames free from scuffs and pressure dents. Load up, lock in, and roll out knowing your bike stays safe and looking great.
When it comes to wheel clamps and straps, the Verse does things a little differently. The wheel hooks use micro-clicks, so you can ease the arms down until they land exactly where you want with no overtightening. The straps ratchet down with a smooth pull, giving your wheels a secure hold. If keeping your bikes locked in is your priority, the Verse delivers.
Fetching gear from the trunk doesn't require unloading all your bikes. With the Verse, a quick squeeze of the handle tilts the rack out of the way. Need snacks? A jacket? No problem. Grab what you need and get back on the road.
When the rack isn't in use, the wheel hooks fold in closer to the front cradles, so you're not stuck with bulky hardware jutting out behind your vehicle. That tighter profile gives you more clearance in tight spots like parking lots, helping prevent bumps and run-ins when backing out.
Fumbling with wrenches and bolts can be a real pain. The locking hand-knob secures the rack in your hitch with a simple twist, no tools required. Turn, lock, and roll out while everyone else is still digging through their toolbox.
Some days you're hauling bikes for the whole crew, other days it's just you and the open road. The Verse is great for both. It starts as a four-bike rack, but when you don't need the extra capacity, just pop off the front section with the included Allen key, stash it at home or in your trunk, and swap the handle. Now, it's a lean, mean two-bike setup.
The Verse gets the job done on its own, but a few key add-ons (each sold separately) can take your setup to the next level:
Bike racks aren't exactly lightweight. The wheel kit (TH97SA - sold separately) lets you roll it like a suitcase, so you're not awkwardly hauling it to your car.
Hoisting heavy e-bikes or fat bikes isn't for everyone. The loading ramp (TH43VA - sold separately) lets you roll your bike into place, so you can save your energy for the ride.
If your bikes block your taillights, the light and license plate kit (TH24SA - sold separately) keeps you visible and road-ready. Plug it in, light it up, and avoid flashing lights in your rearview mirror.
A little fine-tuning doesn't have to slow you down. The repair holder (TH37SA - sold separately) turns your rack into a mobile work stand, so you can adjust gears, fix a flat, or dial in your setup wherever the road takes you.
Traveling without your bikes? Use the Arcos cargo box (TH34FR28CF - sold separately) on the Verse platform to carry extra gear. Just remove the wheel trays, arms, and straps and mount the Arcos in their place.

The Thule Verse is a super easy bike carrier and when you have four, you can get four people out there to have fun and make those memories. So taking a look at the four bike Thule Verse is gonna give you a lot of separation between your frames. Now the specs say it's 11 inches, but you can tell it does vary depending on the styles of the bikes that you have. But you still have plenty of space where you can adjust on the cradles. So you can kind of slide and get a little bit of clearance. Now what you're adding to the back of your vehicle is almost 46 inches.
So you want to be aware of the additional obstruction that you have back here. Another thing to keep in mind is the fact that on this vehicle it's gonna block out the license plate and the taillights. So you're gonna want to add the Thule license plate relocation kit with lights. So that's, you know, just for the safety and so you don't get those additional tickets. Now being a wheel mounted carrier is gonna give you a lot of flexibility depending on what type of bikes you're carrying.
So you're gonna be able to go all the way down to about 18 inches and all the way up to 29 inches as far as the diameter. Now as far as removing bikes, it's just as easy, it's almost like a gas station pump handle and you can grab the arm. Now this ratchet is also very awesome as far as how it holds it in. It's a actual ratchet strap, so that's gonna give you a lot of security as far as making sure that it is really cinched down when you're going down the road. To remove it, you're just gonna press down and you can feed it through and that gets you right to your cradle.
So super easy. Now with this, technically you can actually use the tilt feature, but if you're maxed out at the weight on it, you're right at 140 pounds in bikes and the carrier itself is right at a hundred pounds. It'd probably be a lot easier to just remove the closest bike to get to the cargo area, and you can see in the til, it does allow us to get to the back of the truck pretty easily so we can get to our shoes or our riding gear. But again, I would most likely just remove the bike to just make it easier on myself. Now as far as your wheel cradles, these guys are gonna support your fat tires up to five inches, and your wheel base is right at 52.
So that's gonna cover a wide range of different types of bikes. And using our handle, again, we're gonna tilt this in the upright position and you can see it sits up pretty high. And as far as how it's gonna obstruct, you're definitely gonna need some means of repositioning your lights and your license plate. The Verse is constructed of aluminum that's powder coated to deal with the abuse of being a bike rack. And not to mention that aluminum is already naturally corrosion resistant. Now as far as our straps, these guys are 18 inches long. And again, they have an actual ratcheting function. So to me, that makes it super cool. It's something I like across all the Thule racks that have that feature. And also we want, keep in mind, this guy has built in anti-rattle as well as security. The Thule Verse makes it super easy for the people that like to get out and hit the trail, to not worry about how complicated is it to get my bike transported and just focus on getting out there and making those memories. 'Cause here at etrailer, a bunch of us love hopping on our bikes and hitting the trail, and we would like to see your bike, show us the trail, add some photos, 'cause we love having that interaction with you. So again, this is Ed with etrailer.com taking a look at the Thule Four Bike carrier, happy trails.
