Question:
I have a 2017 forest river and when I pull in my slides they will relax and come back a little bit and when I rise up the jacks it will push the slides back out

From the sounds of the issue, it is possible that you have bad solenoids on your hydraulics that are pushing hydraulic fluid through when they shouldn't be active. This can be a sign that the mechanism needs replaced.
