Compatibility of Timbren Jounce Spring Kit # TFR350SDF with 2008 F350 with B&W Turnover Hitch

Question:
I have a 2008 F350 Super Duty Crew Cab with the 6.4 turbo diesel. I also have a BandW turnover gooseneck ball hitch along with the Companion 5th wheel hitch. I am considering installing these super springs in order to help level the truck when towing.

I contacted the technical staff at B and W to confirm compatibility of their Companion 5th wheel hitch with aftermarket rear suspension kits such as the Timbren Jounce Spring Kit # TFR350SDF in your 2008 F350. My contact there advised that a jounce spring like this kit will not interfere with the hitch installation. This kit installs in place of the factory jounce bumper. Please refer to the attached photo which shows the mounting location. Hardware is included.
Advantages of this type of kit as compared to the air spring type are far simpler bolt-on installation, zero maintenance and lower cost. Unlike air bags which provide a fixed amount of resistance based on inflation these springs provide progressive resistance as the load increases which lets them adjust to suit the trailer (or cargo) load on the truck at any given time. If you needed side-to-side leveling for uneven cargo loads (rather than front-to-back leveling for towing) then an air spring might be a better option.
Do please note that no type of aftermarket suspension kit will increase the weight capacity of a vehicle.
I have linked the complete installation instructions for your review.
