Question:

Will this fit Curt channel mount C45917? I already have this channel mount and dont want to buy that portion new again but need a ball platform this style for it for use without the balls.

The internal channel width of the Replacement Shank for Curt Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # C45917 is 3" while the Replacement Ball Platform # C28KR you're looking at has a 2-3/4" width and is for the Curt Rebellion XD rated only for 15K as opposed to the 20K rating for your shank.

Since there will be a 1/4" difference I recommend going with the Curt Pintle Hook # C45922 instead which has the higher rating to match your shank plus it comes with a 2-5/16" hitch ball that can be swapped out for a 2" 10K Hitch Ball # C48820 or a 1-7/8" 6K Hitch Ball # C48810.

You'll also need the Pins and Clips # C45925 or the Lock Set # C23556.
