Could Opti-Brite LED Strip Light for RVs # ILL78CBB Wire to Running Board Lights

Question:
can this LED strip light be used for running boards on a pick-up truck? and be wired to go on when the doors are locked, unlocked and open.

I am sure there is a way to wire in the Opti-Brite LED Strip Light for RVs # ILL78CBB to the running boards of your truck so that they illuminate the way you want them to. Most likely by tapping into dome lights and power lock circuits. But we do not have a specific way to accomplish that.
