I need a hitch for a bike rack on my hybrid 2022 Ford Escape. What do you suggest?

The hitch I recommend for your 2022 Ford Escape Hybrid is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e89YR. This has a 2" receiver so it's compatible with a wide variety of accessories and another positive is that this has the hidden cross tube so you're just seeing the receiver for a cleaner look.

If you don't already have a bike rack, then I highly recommend the Kuat Beta # B202-2 which is one of the few hanging style racks that have a 40 lb per bike weight capacity.
