I have a 2022 Toytota Highlander XSE with your hitch e75ZR installed on it. I now would like to install a brake controller, what parts do I need? I don't have any wiring for the hitch, but I'm not sure what I need.

To add a brake controller to your 2022 Toyota Highlander XSE, you're going to first need to add:

The 4-Pole Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # C59496. This wiring harness will splice into your OEM vehicle harness, and will provide your vehicle with a 4-pole trailer connector.

Next, you're going to need to add a 7-way connector. You can use the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 to do this.

Now, you're all set to add a brake controller. If you're looking for suggestions, I recommend the Curt Discovery Trailer Brake Controller # C84VV.

This brake controller features 3 boost levels, will automatically level when the internal sensor senses when you decelerate even if the controller isn't mounted level, and has an easy to read LED display that shows the controller's activity.
