Troubleshooting Phoenix Electric Trailer Jack for Beeping

Question:
I have a Phoenix 5500. When I try to raise or lower it it beeps one time when I push the button and nothing happens. Im pretty frustrated at this point.

When we have seen this before with the Phoenix Electric Trailer Jack, # UF38-944040 it frequently is from an improper voltage reading. The unit is shutting itself off for protection. Please verify that your battery bank is fully charged and in good working order then check all the wiring connections for the jack ensuring you have a good ground.
