Placement Of the Gear When Replacing A Lippert Electric Coach Step Module

Question:
I replaced motor on my steps and forgot to note position of flat gear thats driven by the motor. Do you just center the gear or does it need to go with the stop fully to the right?

While the steps are extended the flat gear should sit right at the stop on the right that you referenced (and is pictured below). As the steps close the gear will slide to the left, away from the stop and the control module # LC301702 in the picture.
