Question:

Trailer hitch for 2019 Ford 250 Transit, high roof, lwb extended. Would you recommend the Curt or ETrailer brand for qaulity etc?. Looking for as low profile as possible to mantain clearance with the long back end of extended van. Also I assume I would have to remove tow hook to mount hitch?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C13193 is going to be the better option of the two based on the finishes for the Curt over the etrailler. The Curt has a gloss black powder coat finish over protective base coat that offers superior rust resistance. This hitch is confirmed to fit your 2019 Ford Transit T250 van. It bolts to your frame with included hardware and does not require any drilling or welding. I have attached a couple of pictures of this hitch installed so you can see how clean the hitch looks once on the van. Yes, you will have to remove your tow hook. To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop.
