Question:
I have a Yakima Dr Tray bike rack with 2inch attachment. I just bought a 2017 Hyundai Ioniq and there is no 2inch hitch receiver for it. Can I use # C11486 class 1 receiver, with the Item # 80303 hitch adaptor, and keep using the Dr Tray? I know the weight limit would be reduced, but Im curious if the rack will fit ok into the adaptor. Also wonder if the rack will wobble around if the adaptor is used. Thanks!

With the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11486 for your 2017 Hyundai Ioniq only being a class I receiver you will need to use a bike rack like the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack # SH12G that is compatible with class I receivers. The Kuat will allow for up to 2 bikes weighing 40lbs per bike.
As your Yakima Dr. Tray having the 2" hitch it is only going to be compatible with a class III receivers. Also the Hitch Adapter # 80303 that you saw is only compatible with class II receivers.
Curt does recommend using a Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap # 18050 with hitch mounted accessories to reduce the risk of damage to their receiver.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118758 will provide you with a 4-way connector on your Ioniq. This will allow you to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 since the bikes are likely going to impair the view of your tail lights.
