Replacement Follow Leg For RV Stabilizer Gear
Question:
We have a 2003 36ft Carriage fifth wheel and need to replace the bent front landing gear the motors still work. The weight of the fifth wheel empty is 18,000lbs. The front has a bedroom with a slide out. I found level jacks with a 12,000 lb rating. Will that be enough to carry the load?

Great question,
I do need some more information though. There should be a sticker or stamp somewhere on the legs of the jacks.
We need to find out the make and model of the actual unit so we can get the proper one.
This information is needed because each brand will have differences in materials, ratios, even balance that can cause the unit to fail or work improperly and cause damages. Also if we get the model number we can get the correct weight capacity and not have to worry about overloading it.
If you have the Stromberg Carlson # LG-4 or # LG-2 you will need the Replacement Follow Leg for Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear - 33-1/2" # LG-177201.
If it is another brand let me know and we can find the right fit for you.
