Does Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit 2022 Ford Escape Hybrid

2022 FORD ESCAPE HYBRID. Your website show that the Curt C23FR 13454 WILL fit the Hybrid models, but Curt specifically says it will NOT. Is this something you have tried and succeeded with? Your customer question forum shows it will fit, and hands free liftgate will operate. Thank you.

I checked directly with Curt for you regarding this, and for your 2022 Ford Escape, the hitch WILL fit the standard hybrid models, but it will NOT fit the PHEV, or plug-in models. So as long as your '22 Escape is the standard hybrid and not the plug-in hybrid, the Curt hitch will absolutely fit, with the correct part number being the following:

- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C23FR

Like you said, there are also numerous customer reviews of the # C23FR fitting an Escape Hybrid, and the liftgate working, so this is definitely a fit (again, UNLESS you have the PHEV plug-in model).

The only other thing I wanted to add, is that if you are going to be using this hitch for towing and also need a trailer wiring harness, the correct fit for your '22 Escape (including Hybrid) is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TE54FR.
