Question:
Im having an issue with getting the turn signals and brake lights to function independently of each other after wiring in my 4 pin flat connector. Im getting a feedback thing ...when I step on the brakes, it lights up the turn signals and vice versa. Not sure what the trick is here to send brake light signal independently of the turn signals. Help please!

The problem you are experiencing is due to fact that trailer wiring is designed to have the stop lights and turn signals on the same brighter circuit of the trailer wiring and only the running lights on the lower illumination. When wiring up a trailer wiring 4-way to a vehicle that has the circuits separated you have to also install a signal converter to allow the circuits to match the trailer wiring. For that you'd just need the # RM-732 wired before the 4-way of your tow vehicle.
