What Brake Controller do You Recommend for My 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTD?

Question:
Hi. I have a 2022 Chevy Silverado LT Trail Boss. 6.2L engine. It’s has the tow package but the brake controller was not included when I bought new because of the parts shortages. I am not sure exactly sure what I need because of it being new. Can you send me that info so I can purchase the correct controller from your website? Please let me know if I need to buy a certain adapter or pigtail also? Part number for everything I need to install would be great. Thanks!

I can definitely help you out!
According to my available specs for your 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD, you already have a 4-way and 7-way installed with your tow package. All you need to do is install the components that come with the brake controller itself.
For a great brake controller, I recommend either the Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 or the Curt Echo # C51180. Both of these controllers are proportional controllers which means that the controller activates the trailer brakes in proportion to your vehicle's braking action. The Voyager is more of a traditional-style controller that requires mounting into the dashboard of your vehicle near the steering wheel. If you decide to go with the Voyager, you need the plug-in harness # 3064-P. On the other hand, the Curt Echo allows you to control the settings of your controller with the ease of your Smart device. As far as additional wiring, the Curt Echo just simply plugs into your 7-way plug without any additional harnesses.
