Question:
Hi, I have a Rockwood Flagstaff Pop up camper that weighs 1600 Dry. It came with Ridgeway 12 tires and I unfortunately had a blow out the first day! tires said manufacturing date 2018, but camper is a 2021 I would like to make sure I get the best tires out there to replace both of them as I camp with two little girls and do NOT want to go through that again. What premium tires do you recommend? I see Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Tire w/ 12" Galvanized Spoke Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR D on your site, is this a good tire? It looks like it will match my bolt pattern, but see others had to get separate nuts. Can you please advise? I want to make sure I am super safe on the road and get a tire that is much newer in manufacturing date. Thanks.

The best trailer tire for a 12 inch wheel is going to be the Taskmaster part # TT53012C with a wheel like the Dexstar part # AM20132. This tire doesn't come pre-mounted from us but it has a higher speed rating at 81 mph, a great weight capacity and is a radial. Most tires in the size you have now are limited to 65 mph as the max speed they can go before they get hot and end up failing which is why it's important to go with one that has a higher speed rating.
