The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 13028 that fits a 1994 GMC 1500HD will not fit a 2002 GMC 2500HD. It does fit the 2000-2007 3500 cab and chassis models.
For a class III hitch that does fit your 2002 GMC 2500HD you are going to want the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 13208.
