Adding Tension To Solera Slide Out Toppers

Question:
after a windy day or two my toppers seem to be flappy. do you slide the slide out in an out to readjust the tension or do you have to adjust the tension at each end .or should i just add balls an string to keep the topper tight..

Thanks for the great question.
Not knowing how far either side has slipped I would remove all tension for the arm and start over at zero tension.
To add tension to your Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 6'7" Wide - 48" Projection - White # LCV000163285 you need to detach the arm from the extension rod. Then spin the torsion arm 14 times. Clockwise for the idler head. Counter clockwise for the drive head.
