Question:
Thanks do all the lights have to be converted at the same time? The lights are 6.1/2 x2” approx and long oval shape held in by a rubber grommet. I can forward a picture if that would be more helpful. Some people have said I would need to add resistors to use the LED lights. Thank you very much for your information and guidance.

You will be able to replace the incandescent lights on your trailer with LED without a problem. Like you said, you can just take the old lights out and replace them with new lights. If the Miro-Flex LED Combination Trailer Tail Lights - Submersible # STL28RB & # STL29RB you looked at would be a great choice assuming they are the style and size you want.
These are surface mount lights so they will be able to mount in most places without a problem. The dimensions of these lights are 5-1/4" wide x 5" tall x 2-5/8" deep. They use a 3-Wire design with separate ground hardwires to power and they include twist-on wire connectors.
If you are looking for something else I would be happy to help you find a replacement if you send the dimensions of your current lights and pictures if possible. I have attached a review and installation video for your reference.
