Question:
I am interested in a soft start upgrade for the main A/C on my travel trailer. It is a GE and is on a Heartland Mallard M-335. Can you recommend a good one and how difficult are they to install? I watched one of your videos and just wanted to ask if all A/Cs have the same color wires? Thanks

I would be happy to help you. I recommend the SoftStartRV Soft Start for RV AC Units - Qty 1 item # SSR54FR. The built-in start capacitor controls torque to ensure smoother starts and stops. This unit will limit the stress put on the motor, compressor, and drive train to extend the life of your AC. I have linked a couple of installation video's so you can follow along with the process and understand the steps. There is no universal color code for AC wiring.
